About The Shirdi Sai Samaj Temple
Located in Sector 29-B, Chandigarh, the Shirdi Sai Samaj Temple is a sacred place where devotees come to seek the blessings of Shirdi Sai Baba. Known for its peaceful and spiritual atmosphere, the temple offers an ideal space for prayers, meditation, and reflection.
As you enter the temple premises, you will first find a pandal (resting area) where devotees can sit before proceeding for Sai Baba’s darshan. The main idol of Sai Baba is placed in the sanctum, where people offer their prayers with devotion. A little ahead, you will come across another idol and a picture of Sai Baba, adding to the temple’s divine ambiance.
After seeking Baba’s blessings, devotees are offered prasad, a sacred offering. The temple also houses a langar hall, where free meals are served at specific times, following the tradition of seva (selfless service). Before reaching the langar, devotees can also visit the donation room to make contributions. On special occasions, the temple organises Sai Baba’s palki yatra (procession), allowing devotees to participate in this spiritual event with faith and devotion.
